The nearest beach is Barrill in Santa Luzia, facing Pedras del Rei, located in the center of the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, just 2 km from Santa Luzia. In addition to some local restaurants, Tavira and Santa Luzia have plenty to choose from. Both places have a wide variety of restaurants and bars for a drink. It is highly recommended to have lunch or dinner at the nearby Casa do Abade in Santa Luzia, known for its good service (they make an extra effort) and simple fresh local food. Prices are very reasonable and their specialty, "Porco Preto", is a typical dish from Alentejo, where the black pig from this region is fed with acorns to give it a distinctive flavor. Ask the owner "Tito" for his wine recommendation, as he has many excellent local wines at affordable prices. Additionally, Pedras del Rei has a good restaurant called Vale del Rei, as well as a piano bar to entertain you late into the night. At Barrill Beach, you'll find a self-service restaurant, a burger joint, a pizzeria/creperie, a bar, craft shops and boutiques, a nautical club, and a massage service. If you don't like crowded beaches, this is the place for you. Upon arriving at Barrill Beach, even during high season, you only need to walk 500 meters in any direction, and you'll have the beach all to yourself!

One of the most pleasant and relaxed places to visit is Tavira, 5 km (3 miles) south of Stº Estevao. It is very easy to lose track of time in Tavira, a charming old town with a long history where time seems to have stopped. You can spend hours walking through the charming cobblestone streets with their numerous restaurants, shops, bars, and terraces to enjoy a refreshment under the sun. The old palace is nearby, and Ilha de Tavira beach is within walking distance and has many small restaurants. It is recommended to visit the recently renovated Pousada (Inn). This is a very pleasant destination throughout the year. During the summer months, there is a ferry from the city center, in front of the Happy Homes office, that goes to Ilha de Tavira and Quatro Aguas.

The villa has a beautiful open floor plan, modern furniture with a Mediterranean atmosphere and is very well equipped and consists of a spacious and bright living room with a wood stove and dining room. Next to the dining room is a large, fully equipped design kitchen with breakfast island and natural stone countertop. Two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom. Access from the living room, kitchen and a ground floor bedroom to the (partially) semi-covered terrace, lawn and pool. The garden is partially landscaped, automatically irrigated and has many mature and beautiful trees. Additionally, a large barbecue and sun loungers are provided next to the pool for guest use. In front of the living room, under the semi-covered terrace, you will find a cozy sitting area. Air conditioning in all rooms.
